実家の食べ物 Some Food from Bandar Lampung

実家戻ったらいっぱい美味しい物食べました。足りないぐらい何回も食べたくなる。。

These are food I ate during my vacation in Bandar Lampung.  Four of them are the specialities of my hometown, while the last two are fusions.

テックワン (魚だんごスープ) TEKWAN,  One of the food I love the most! Inside the soup: fishcakes, bengkoang, black fungus, lily flower, cucumber.

 

ペンペック  Pempek (Fishcakes with spicy brown sauce)

アイス上海 Es Shanghai (Shoven Ice with can fruits, jellies, condensed milk) I used to eat this when I was little. It is very sweet and cold. My kids love this too.

アイスカチャン Es Kacang (Red beans, Cincau, Jackfruits, Coconut, Fermented Tapioca, jellies, in fragnant syrup and condensed milk) This one is a bit similar to Singapore Ice kachang, but with different toppings.

 

揚げグラメ Fried Gurame in Mango Sauce… hmmm, this was my first time eating this in my hometown. It tasted ok, but I would rather eat Fried Gurame with sweet soya sauce and chilis..

カンクン & パパヤリーフ お勧めになれない。 パパヤリーフは苦かったです。 Kangkung with Papaya Leaves. The papaya leaves made the dish tasted very bitter. Bad choice. I would rather have a normal stir fry kangkung with garlic and chilis.
